Job Description:
Our client, a metal fabrication company is seeking a CMM
Technician to join their team. As a CMM Technician, you will be
part of the Quality Department supporting plant quality. The ideal
candidate will have good communication skills, can do attitude] and
good work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:CMM Technician-1st shift Location:Osceola, WI Pay
Range:$29-36/hour What’s the Job? Operate, program, and maintain
CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections of parts and
components according to engineering drawings, models, and
specifications Write and edit CMM programs for new and existing
parts, ensuring accuracy and repeatability in the measurement
process Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T (Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and CAD models to set up and run
inspections effectively Conduct detailed inspections of first
articles, in-process parts, and final products to verify
conformance to specifications Utilize CMM, calipers, micrometers,
gauges, and other precision measurement tools to perform
dimensional checks Document and record inspection results, ensuring
all measurements meet required tolerances and quality standards.
What’s Needed? 2 years of experience as a CMM Technician or Quality
Inspector in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience with
CMM programming and operation (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar
software) is required Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint
reading, and interpretation of engineering drawings Hands-on
experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers,
calipers, height gauges) Strong problem-solving and analytical
skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes
