Job Description:
Are you enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives
of children and adolescents? The Minnesota Autism Center (MAC), a
not-for-profit organization, is presently in search of capable
Behavioral Therapist/Mental Health Practitioners who can deliver
direct one-on-one therapy to individuals, both children and adults,
grappling with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). If you hold
positions such as PCA (Personal Care Assistant), DSP (Direct
Support Professional), Paraprofessional, CNA (Certified Nursing
Assistant), or Home Health Aide, you are welcome to apply! This
position is also referred to as Behavioral Technician, Behavioral
Therapist, Behavior Therapist, ABA Therapist (Applied Behavior
Analysis therapist). We provide competitive initial compensation
for Behavioral Therapists/Mental Health Practitioners, beginning at
$19.00 per hour or higher (commensurate with experience). We are
open to adjusting compensation based on experience in Applied
Behavior Analysis. Our developmental training program opens doors
to various promotional pathways. Currently, we are offering a
Retention Incentive of $1,000! You will receive $500 after
completing 6 months of employment, and an additional $500 after
your first year of employment. The role of Behavioral
Therapist/Mental Health Practitioner/DSP involves on-the-job
training. Full-time positions are available: Monday to Friday, 8:30
am to 4:30 pm. No weekend or evening shifts are required. Part-time
positions are available: Monday to Friday, either 8:30 am to 12:00
pm or 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Opportunities for career advancement and

Qualifications: Strong desire and genuine passion for delivering
mental health services. Capability to function effectively within a
group setting or provide one-on-one support to clients. Proficient
in maintaining a high level of professionalism when interacting
with clients and their families. Possession of a high school
diploma or equivalent. Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Preferred Qualifications: Holds a bachelor's degree in one of the
behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college
or university, and has accrued a minimum of 2,000 hours of
supervised experience in providing mental health services to
clients dealing with mental illness. (For example, a Bachelor's in
Behavioral Science plus 1 year of full-time experience). Possesses
a minimum of 4,000 hours of supervised experience in delivering
mental health services to clients with mental illness. (For
example, 2 years of full-time experience). Enrolled as a graduate
student in a mental health professional discipline, with formal
assignment by an accredited college or university to an agency or
facility for clinical training. Holds a master's or other graduate
degree in a mental health professional discipline from an
