RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Requirements gathering, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting systems processes, and interfaces related to legacy mainframe (OS390) applications.
* Support mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, TELON, ISPF) and systems.
* Willingness to learn and transition to other technologies (Oracle ERP, Oracle Order Management, Informatica, Oracle Databases) after two to three years in the position.
* Maintain systems with a Supply Chain focus (Order Processing, Inventory Status, Pricing, Invoicing, Production Planning).
* Test and verify completed application solutions meet specifications.
* Work with other development analysts, Business Solution Architects, and business subject matter experts through iterations of development to gain acceptance and approval of testing before migrating to Production environment.
* Troubleshoot issues with existing processes and programs and work with business SMEs to resolve, test and migrate fixes to Production environment.
* Off hours and on call support is required.

Level of position will be determined based on experience and skillset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related area.
* Experience with Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, TELON, IMS, DB2.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience managing tasks and working cross functionally with peers to achieve project goals.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* A strong pattern of initiative.
* Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Proven ability to learn business processes and technologies.
* Minimum 2 years of experience supporting mainframe systems.

Preferred:

* Experience designing, developing, and supporting custom applications.
* Experience working with systems that have a Supply Chain focus.
* Ability to adapt, learn, and quickly understand new technologies (Oracle Fusion Order Management, Oracle Fusion Advanced Pricing, Oracle Databases, PL/SQL, etc).
