Business Analyst/Technology 6 month plus contract positionHybrid remote positionSkills:RequiredWORKFLOW ANALYSISBUSINESS REQUIREMENTS GATHERINGCHANGE MANAGEMENTDuties:The Business Analyst - IT serves as a liaison at a project level through which requirements flow between the internal customer community, IT development teams, and end customers. Work with application and project teams to gather, analyze, communicate and validate the requirements for enhancements to applications, both internally developed and purchased software systems. Serve the team as a liaison between the various stakeholders groups to ensure requirements are fully defined according to Software Development Lifecycle and project management processes with a focus on ITIL approaches to service and knowledge management. Requires experience and understanding of Mayo's Information Technology and Information Services environment. Project management proficiencies should include the ability to facilitate meetings and documentation, development, testing, communication, education, implementation, and ongoing support needs for application and quality improvement projects. Provide change management and governance recommendations for subsequent application releases and will review testing plans to ensure their adequacy to verify that all requirements are met sufficiently to obtain customer acceptance of all deliverables. Participate with groups inside and outside the department to continue the advancement of Business Analysis role in the department. Help the project team understand the Business Analysis process and tools being used to effectively accomplish their mission. Some methods and tools used to execute this function include: user interviews, document analysis, system analysis, surveys, site visits, use cases, story boarding, task and workflow analysis.Skills:The Client Cloud Platform Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst who will assist in the design, development and maintenance of Clients Cloud's Tenancy Management Product. Tenancy Management is a customizable HITRUST certified that enables product development for Client and third-party customers through automation and self-service. The successful candidate will need to interact with multiple groups across Client as well as various areas of IT to bring the technologies together to create a seamless experience for users and customers.Understands the business environment and the impact IT can have on the business environment. Functions as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas during the planning process and provides oversight throughout the project cycle. Builds credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs.Researches requests to determine scope, size, and impact. Validates requirement information with the stakeholders to ensure completeness, correctness, and clarity. Validates solutions to ensure it satisfies the stated requirements.Maintains knowledge of existing systems and certification in the vended application. Creates test plans and evaluates current plans for improvement. Maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies that directly affect enterprise processes. Maintains awareness of overall enterprise architecture.Education:High School / GED and 4 years of Business Analyst training/certification and Business Analyst experience. OR An Associate's degree and 2 years' experience as a business analyst or Bachelor's degree. Requires proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
