JOB SUMMARY:
To prevent fraud and provide analytic and clerical support to the credit department in accordance with the company's mission and philosophy. WHY MASON?:

Flexible scheduling/ hybrid work schedule. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONBILITIES:

--- Review orders for validity and fraudulent activity. Verify information with customer when necessary.
--- Provide customer centric responses when responding to customer concerns and inquiries.
--- Apply the company's credit and collection policies and procedures within specified dollar limits or normal credit lines.
--- Apply the company's policies and procedures to all high-risk orders meeting the criteria for review.
--- Perform the tasks established in the company's program for the follow-up and collection of receivables.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
--- Provide backup assistance and analyst functions as necessary to other credit clerks.
--- Special projects and other duties as assigned. The above listing of essential and periodic functions is not an inclusive listing of all duties that may be required to be performed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
COMPETENCIES:
--- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and customer service skills.
--- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
--- Strong attention to detail.
--- Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.
--- Self-motivated and directed; able to take initiative.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
--- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
--- 1-2 years of progressively responsible in finance is preferred.
--- Prior experience in customer service is strongly desired.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
