Job Title: Die Maker - 1st Shift

-Job Description:
A growing global printing manufacturer in La Crosse, WI is seeking a skilled Die Maker to join our 1st shift team. This hands-on position involves building, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies used in manufacturing processes across automotive, electronics, medical, and industrial sectors.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM

• Build, assemble, and repair jigs, fixtures, tools, and dies
• Prepare steel rule and punch press dies ahead of time to minimize production downtime
• Interpret blueprints, verbal and written instructions, and sample parts
• Plan and operate a variety of manual machine shop tools
• Fit, align, and assemble parts with high precision
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on dies, including re-ruling and ejection repairs
• Maintain accurate records on die maintenance and tool repairsQualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator preferred
  • CNC knowledge is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
