ever. We are currently seeking an Environmental Geologist to assist
with our growing environmental remediation and renewable energy
practice in New York State and across the Northeastern United
States. Responsibilities: - Oversight of environmental site
assessment investigations (including soil, ground water and surface
water sampling). - Preparation of Phase I ESA environmental site
assessments in accordance with ASTM 1527 standards. - Client
communications. - Renewable energy project permitting. - Report and
proposal writing. Requirements: - Minimum of a Bachelor Degree with
a major in geology or a closely related field - 8 + years
experience in the Environmental Consulting Field - Prior field
experience completing environmental site assessments is required
and a willingness to travel to job sites is expected. - OSHA
Hazwoper 40-hour training with a current 8 hour refresher is
required - OSHA 10-hour construction worker training or USACE
24-hour Site Safety training is preferred - Candidates must have
excellent communications skills. - Prior experience with
remediation and solar energy projects in New York State is
desirable. - Typical projects include renewable energy projects,
electrical infrastructure, environmental investigation/remediation,
and environmental due diligence. - The candidate must work well in
a team setting. - Proficiency with a variety of computer programs
(Word, Excel, ArcGIS) is required. - A pre-employment drug screen
in compliance with state regulations is required. - Must possess a
valid driver's license with a clean driving record without
restrictions. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $68,000 - $75,000 yr. At Tetra Tech, health and
