Description:The Master Scheduler / Planner is responsible for creating and managing the internal production schedule for Almco and Panels Plus. The specific tasks ERP production schedule creation, labor load management, identify and implement improvement opportunities to the scheduling procedure, successfully build and distribute work center specific dispatches to be completed to match customer request dates.
Essential Functions:

• Analyzing of material requirements planning.
• Coordinate manufacturing shop orders and prepare dispatch for distribution.
• Review daily MRP and shortage information and follow-up on appropriate action for manufactured parts.
• Meet regularly with plant supervisors to verify labor load capacity against demonstrated capacity.
• Work with Engineering to verify production flow matches systematic flow to ensure accurate dispatch.
• Assembles manufacturing shop packets when necessary.
• Analyze and close shop packets upon completion.
• Perform various planning and management duties to ensure customer orders are complete and on-time.Requirements:
  • Two year associate degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Must be a proactive, analytical and a results oriented problem solver with follow through skills and have the ability to recognize and proactively solve problems, define solutions, prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities at one time while meeting deadlines.
  • Must have good communications skills, both verbal and written and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to others, both within the organization and to outside suppliers.
  • PC skills including ERP, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and Internet/Intranet, is a plus.
  • A strong ability to set and prioritize goals.
  • Ability to multi-task within a TEAM environment.
  • A positive can-do attitude and strong motivation to succeed.
