Seasonal Position Available (Dates of Need:04/01/2023 through
12/31/2023) Position: Custodian 1 Duties: Maintaincleanliness of
assigned areas; pick up and remove trash and debris.Responsible for
property clean-up including bio-chemical material. Cleanand
maintain all public areas including restrooms. Requirements: Must
beable to stand and walk for majority of shift. Must be able to
push,pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to reach, grasp,
bend,kneel, and twist at the waist. Minimum age 18 years of age.
Frequentlyexposed to smoke, flashing lights, and moderate noise
level. Must beable to read, write and communicate effectively.
Full-time: Employerwill offer a minimum of no less than 35 hours
per week. Open 7-days aweek (holidays included). Shifts will be 3pm
to 11pm, 11pm to 7am. Shiftschedule start and end times and days
off vary depending on work demand.Overtime: As Needed Only On the
Job Training: Yes Wage Offer: Workerswill be paid no less than \$15
per hour with OT at \$22.50 per hour.Paid bi-weekly. Will use
single workweek as standard for computing wagesdue. Housing:
Optional local shared housing with rental fee may beavailable. Cost
of housing is \$150 per month per person deducted viabi-weekly
payroll deduction along with all utilities split amongroommates
deducted in the same manner. Deductions: Employer will makeall
deductions from workers paycheck required by law and if
applicable:optional local shared housing deductions; optional daily
transportationdeductions; optional discounted employee meals;
optional medical,prescription, dental, and vision insurance plans,
and other supplementalvoluntary benefit options; and optional
401(k) enrollment. Benefits:Cold meals are available for order in
the Employee Dining Room atdiscount (cost for meals are deducted
via payroll); Boyd Gaming teammember discounts; optional medical,
prescription, dental, and visioninsurance plans (fees vary
depending on plan chosen by worker and arededucted via payroll),
along with other supplemental voluntary benefitoptions all
available after 89 days of full-time employment; optional401(k)
plan is also available after 90 days of employment to everyoneover
21 years of age (automatic enrollment of 3% unless opting out
isdone prior to enrollment; fees are deducted via payroll); and
paid timeoff available after 90 days of employment. Transportation
andsubsistence to the place of employment: If the worker completes
50percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange
and paydirectly for transportation and subsistence from the place
ofrecruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work
contractor where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will
provide orpay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation
andsubsistence back home or to the place the worker originally
departed towork, except where the worker will not return due to
subsequentemployment with another employer or where the employer
has appropriatelyreported a workers voluntary abandonment of
employment. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement
will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier
for the distances involved.Daily meals will be provided at a rate
of \$14 per day during travel toa maximum of \$59 per day with
receipts. Visa and visa-related expenses:Workers will be reimbursed
in the first workweek for ll visa, visaprocessing, border crossing
and other related fees, including thosemandated by the government
(except passport fees). Tools: Will provideworkers at no charge all
tools, supplies, and equipment required toperform the job. Daily
Transportation: Transportation to and from theworksite is available
for workers that elect to live in the offeredhousing for a monthly
fee of \$25 per month per person deducted viabi-weekly payroll
deduction. All other workers are responsible for theirdaily
transportation.
