Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for Emergency Department coverage in Britt, located in northcentral Iowa near the Minnesota border.

NURSE PRACTITIONER RESPONSIBILITIES / FACILITY DETAILS

Nurse Practitioner for PRN locum tenens ER coverage with some inpatient duties
12 to 48 hour shift options available; flexible scheduling
Trauma Level IV
Annual volume: ED 4, 000 (11/day) - IP average 6 a day (between 9p-7a)
EMR: Cerner
Typical timeline to credential is 1-2 months after all information is received from the candidate

NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP) REQUIREMENTS
- Iowa medical license and DEA/CSR
- Required life support certifications include ATLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Covid and flu vaccinations required
