This is a full time remote position within the United
This position will play a vital role in the analysis,
development and support of the Epic Surgery (Optime) application.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other
Optime analysts as well as other clinical application analysts,
leadership, clinical and administrative staff throughout Mayo
Clinic to build, test, and support the changes to our current
Optime implementation. In addition to these, the successful
candidate will gain knowledge of other EHR integrated workflows and
technical tools within Epic. Prior EHR experience, understanding of
clinical workflows is a plus, but not required.
Maintains knowledge of existing systems and is certified in the
vended application, as required. Configures, designs, develops, or
modifies applications via vendor tools or augmented tools developed
within Mayo Clinic and is able to validate data integrity of
Resolves customer problems with software and responds to
requested improvements and enhancements.
Researches requests to determine scope, size and impact. Works
with customers to elicit requirements through a variety of
techniques. Validates requirement information with customers to
ensure completeness, correctness, and clarity. Validates the
developed solution to ensure it satisfies the stated
Functions as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical
areas during the planning process. Builds credibility and rapport
with customers to understand their needs.
Manages small- to mid-sized projects. Contributes to software
An Epic certification in one of the following areas is
preferred: Epic Optime or Epic Anesthesia. Strong analytical and
customer service skills are a must. Having experience working in a
large, multi-disciplinary medical facility is a plus.
Being part of a 24/7 on-call rotation is required.
Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer visas for this
Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's Degree with 2 years' experience
in business analysis.
Vendor application certification may be required.
Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered
along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary
range every 2 weeks is approx. $2,739.20-$4,439.20 based on a
Hours / Pay period
Full Time Telework. Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
