Performs a variety of duties associated with performing and
processing electrocardiograms and holter monitors. Responsible for
initial review of ECG for abnormality, initial troubleshooting, and
following safe laboratory practices. Gives direction to new
employees and assists with training of new employees, medical
students, and other allied health professionals. Functions as part
of a large rotational team in four different physical locations
(outpatient and inpatient, including the Emergency Department)
which provides 24-hour services at the hospital.
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Prior ECG experience is
preferred. Computer experience is desired. Must be highly
organized, efficient, and multifunctional with ability to work
independently. Must have good communication, problem solving and
public relation skills. Must be able to make decisions quickly and

health care position is desired.
License or certification
CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) National
Certification is required within two years of employment. There is
a 12-month commitment to this position, which begins after the
applicant passes the CRAT.
BLS required within 1 year of start date.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with
internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate
is $17.70 per hour.
Hours / Pay period
Multiple part-time and full-time positions available ranging
from 0.5 to 1.0 FTE (40 to 80 hours per pay period, bi-weekly.)
