package to secure your future. Responsibilities The Revenue Cycle
Solutions Architect - Automation is a key technical leadership role
responsible for designing and delivering innovative, scalable
solutions across the Mayo Clinic Revenue Cycle. This position is
accountable for the technical oversight of automation, agentic AI,
and machine learning initiatives that drive operational efficiency,
improve quality, and support strategic transformation. Reporting
directly to Senior Director of Automation, the Solutions Architect
ensures that emerging technologies - including RPA, large language
models (LLMs), and intelligent process automation - are aligned
with enterprise goals and seamlessly integrated into clinical and
operational workflows. This role provides a unique opportunity to
shape the future of the Revenue Cycle through creative
problem-solving, solution design, and enterprise collaboration. The
Solutions Architect will serve as a technical expert and thought
leader in intelligent automation, responsible for evaluating
technologies, guiding architecture decisions, developing solution
roadmaps, and ensuring implementation success. While Epic and
UiPath are key technologies in the environment, this role requires
a platform-agnostic mindset, leveraging best-in-class tools and
approaches to meet the needs of complex business challenges. Key
responsibilities include: • Leading the technical design and
architecture of automation and AI/ML solutions within the Revenue
Cycle • Collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical
stakeholders to identify and scope high-impact automation
opportunities • Providing expert guidance on enterprise automation
platforms (e.g., UiPath) and AI technologies, including LLM
integration, intelligent agents, and cognitive services • Creating
and maintaining technical design standards, reusable assets, and
governance frameworks for intelligent automation • Serving as a
liaison across internal technical councils and committees to gain
institutional approvals • Mentoring solution developers, analysts,
and engineers in architecture best practices and emerging
technologies • Representing Mayo Clinic in internal and external
forums to share innovation, advance partnerships, and influence
industry direction Qualifications • Bachelors degree and 8 years
experience including 5 years of demonstrated technical experience
and 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience. Works cross
functionally across Mayo Clinic Departments. Demonstrated project
and deliverable consistency through repeatable and reliable
performance. Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to
complete tasks and assignments on time. Proven evidence of project
management skills. Demonstrated oral and written communication,
organization, problem solving, and facilitation skills. Evidence of
mastery level expertise in multiple technologies. Demonstrated
ability in solving complex technical and application problems with
multiple technologies. Experience working in healthcare technology
and Epic. Exposure to managing both custom developed and
vendor-supplied applications. Masters degree in applicable field
preferred. Multiple (three or more) Epic Certifications OR relevant
Intelligent Automation/AI certifications required. Healthcare
Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification Preferred.
Working knowledge of large language models, AI agents, and/or ML
lifecycle management. Proven track record of designing
enterprise-scale solutions using automation platforms (UiPath
preferred). *This position is a 100% remote work. Individual may
