Curries location in Mason City, IA.What would you do as our
Programmer Analyst?In this role you--will help to design, develop,
write, modify and implement software solutions. Assist with
business discovery and works from written specifications and
pre-established guidelines to help improve the functionality.
Remains appraised of current development methods and technologies,
assists team with proactively refining development standards and
practices to improve efficiency.You would also:
- Develop and/or provide software solutions to the business in
accordance with established specifications and considerate of
system capabilities
- Build relationships within the organization that will help you
to understand processes, systems, system flow, business objectives,
challenges, past history, budget, scope of projects, etc. so that
you can determine and present/recommend creative solutions
- Document and test the solution, as well as assist with end-user
training
- Help to develop work instructions, procedures and coding
standards (as needed)
- Help to manage expectations, milestones and tasks to help
ensure success of project(s)
- Remain informed on relevant technology, constantly seek to
expand skill set and request necessary training to augment these
objectives
- Other duties as assigned

Company standards, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct The Skills
and Experience you need:
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems
or related field
- Minimum of 3--years progressive experience with requirements
gathering and analysis
- In lieu of degree, 5-7--years of related work experience within
a business production environment
- Previous working knowledge of the following technologies: ILE
RPG, OS400, SQL, and DB2 Databases
- Experience and/or exposure to the following would be a plus:
Agile Development / Agile Project Management, Java, XML, HTML5 and
Rational ------------
- Ability to apply troubleshooting methodology to problems
involving several concrete variables in standardized
situations.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as
well as the ability to write detailed reports, instructions and
correspondence
- Ability to function in a team environment, as well as
autonomously
- Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle
