Remote Senior Principal Software Engineer

Job Description:

A software technology company has an open position for a Remote Senior Principal Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:
Developing and enhancing GPU infrastructure for ARM, both kernel and user-space
Actively participating in the related upstream Linux communities
Sustaining this support through the life-cycle of the ARM devices and RHEL releases
Qualifications Include:

5+ years of relevant experience
Fluent in C programming and Linux scripting tools
Knowledge of multiple chips, ideally Qualcomm
Excellent understanding of devices software stack and interaction with hardware layer in GPU architecture
Experience with backporting upstream code to Linux distributions, kernel configuration, building, and testing
Expertise in Mesa and Wayland/X.org
