vary.**Position description**Mayo Clinic Cloud is developing
solutions in Partnership with Google that run on Google's Cloud
platform. The Mayo Clinic Cloud Team responsible for developing
capabilities that accelerate the integration between applications
and AI and Data is seeking a Technical Specialist I who will assist
with the design, development, and support of cloud-based solutions
necessary to make this possible. Joining the Software Factory team
within Mayo Clinic Cloud means you will have opportunities to
directly help accelerate the delivery of products that provide
enhanced clinical decision support to providers and improved care
and outcomes for patients.Candidates will be a part of a
development team made up of full stack software engineers, software
testers, business analysts, scrum masters, cloud architects, and
solution architects. The successful candidate will be required to
help design integrations between Mayo Clinic Cloud's Software
Factory solutions that enable seamless integration between AI,
Data, and product teams. Additionally, the successful candidate
will be responsible for other integrations that enable full
automated workflows from Software Factory solutions. These include
integrations into Mayo's enterprise solutions, Google Cloud
environments, and Enterprise based systems. The successful
candidate will participate and lead solution designs as well as
help implement and support them.The successful candidate should
have the following preferred experience:+ Cloud solution
architectures and support (Google Cloud preferred)+ Terraform
Enterprise (Infrastructure as Code) and Google Workflow+ Software
development experience working with VSCode, Python, Java, Node.js,
Angular, React and other modern development libraries and
languages.+ Experience developing and supporting backend services
and integrations with other systems+ Supporting and maintaining
vended solutionsA successful candidate will be expected to lead the
development of technical proposals that consider alternatives and
business case, gains needed institutional approvals, and works
effectively across departmental organizations gaining consensus of
stakeholders. Is recognized within their work area or division as a
technical expert and is sought out for their in-depth knowledge of
a broad range of current technologies and these technologies apply
to the Mayo's environment. Provides technical leadership in system
architecture, design principles, software development
methodologies, and selection of technology systems within their
division. Understands and applies concepts of enterprise
architecture to ensure systems align, adhere, and integrate within
Mayo Education Technology enterprise environment. May be required
to provide 24/7 call support. Interfaces routinely with colleagues
who may be located at any of the Mayo sites to perform job
responsibilities requiring virtual collaboration and
partnership.**Qualifications**Bachelor's degree and 5 years'
experience including 3 years' of demonstrated technical experience
and 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience; Or, Associate's
degree and 9 years' experience including 3 years' of demonstrated
technical experience.Authorization to work and remain in the United
States, without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorship now, or in
the future (for example, be a U.S. Citizen, national, or permanent
resident, refugee, or asylee). Also, Mayo Clinic does not
participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.**Additional
qualifications**Capable of moving among work areas and willing to
do so. Demonstrated project and deliverable consistency through
repeatable and reliable performance. Proven evidence of project
management skills. Demonstrated oral and written communication,
organization, problem solving, and facilitation skills. Evidence of
mastery level expertise in one computing technology. Demonstrated
ability in solving complex technical problems with multiple
computing technologies. Experience working in healthcare
technology. Exposure to managing both custom developed and
vendor-supplied applications. Master's degree in applicable field
