RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Software Design Engineer VII in support of our industry leading technology development client in Chippewa Falls, WI. Summary:Our client is seeking candidates who are driven to make positive changes to the way people live and work by creating breakthrough technology solutions. In this role, the candidate will analyze, troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues during installation.Responsibilities:* Develop software that facilitates installation, testing, and automation tasks in Python, Perl, Bash shell * Help manage installation projects and schedules, take a project management stance to shepard the process through to completion * Help interface with customers, and manage expectationsREQUIREMENTS:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field/discipline * 5+ years of technical experience, ideally in an HPCrelated area * Strong HPC administration knowledge and experience on substantial supercomputing or AI systems, specifically in management, troubleshooting, performance measurement and tuning * Strong Linux knowledge and experience * Strong development skills with one or more of Python, Perl, Bash shell scripting * Strong experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, and enterprise level switch configuration * Prefer experience in several of the following network technologies: Infiniband, NIS, DNS, NTP, LDAP, NFS, OSPF, BGP, LLDP, LAG/MLAG, bonding, LACP * Ability to gather data, perform analysis, reproduce, resolve or escalate, and manage issues * Ability to multi-task and prioritize, switching between working several issues at once * Ability to work effectively in a team environment to investigate and resolve complex problems as part of a teamKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
