Critical Care nurses take care of a wide range of adult patient populations, including:Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)Valve replacement including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TVAR)Respiratory failureNeurologicalTraumaSeptic ShockWe work with a large interdisciplinary team to provide the best care possible through an evidence-based, best practice, and teaching approach.What You Will DoCCU nurses are a highly specialized and trained nurse who provides nursing care to patients with life threateningillnesses or conditions.CCU nurses are trained to make split-second decisions and act quickly when a patient status changes. Teamwork on our unit is unsurpassed.Provide specialized care using the most current technological equipment and medications available including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Ventilators, Temporary Pacemakers, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Swan-Ganz catheters,Vigileohemodynamic monitoring system, and cannulating for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygen (ECMO) VV and AV.What We Are Looking ForEducation:Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or qualified multi-state license required.Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.Experience:Previous experience incriticalcaresettingpreferred.Special Skills and Competencies:CCRN certification preferred.Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and flexibility to meet department needs.Self-motivated, detail oriented individual able to work with minimum supervision.We would love to talk with you about this fantastic opportunity.
