Broadway Plaza is hiring!-- Join our tean as a full time Houskeeper, Custodian or Concierge. We offer competetive pay along with great benefits and employee perks. Housekeeper: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (occasional Saturdays) The right person would provide flexibility and outstanding service to the corporate housing team by performing regular cleans and move out cleans that exceed our clients and guests expectations. Primary Responsibilities---Clean and maintain all apartments on a daily or weekly basis---Sweep, scrub and mop floors---Vacuum clean carpets---Dust and polish furniture and fittings---Empty and clean trash containers---Dispose of trash---Clean wash toilets, mirrors, tubs, showers, countertops, stoves/ovens, dishes and fridge---Make up beds and change linen as required---Clean apartments after a guest has vacated Custodian: Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 10:00pm The right person would provide flexibility and outstanding service to the corporate housing team by cleaning and maintaing the common areas used by our guests and clients.----Primary responsibilities:--- Sweeps, dusts, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, equipment, and hardware.--- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, washrooms, and bedrooms, keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels, and soap.--- Collects and disposes of trash and garbage; moves equipment and furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs.--- Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets.--- Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.--- Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments.--- Wash accessible interior and exterior windows. Concierge: Schedule will vary, 40 hours per week The right person would provide flexibility and outstanding service to the corporate housing guests by assisting them with their belongings and arrangements. Primary Responsibilities--- Assisting guests with luggage/groceries/travel. --- Patrolling the building, monitoring cameras and acting immediately to any fire call that comes through the Simplex system.--- Assisting check-ins with all the knowledge of appliances, locations of services and transportation.--- Answering after hours phone calls, taking information about upcoming reservations or quotes and relaying the information to the on staff member.--- Valet parking for VIP. --- Maintain clean entrance and lobby areas.--- Keeping up to date logs on valet parking, activity and packages.--- Active listening skills and ability to give full attention and understand what guests are asking--- Customer focused approach to problem solving Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications---Strong attention to detail---Ability to understand and speak English, bilingual preferred---Good communication skills---Must be able to work occasional holidays and weekends---Ability to move, lift carry push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds---Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping---Stand or walk for extended period of time---Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation equipment,--products, techniques and methods---Basic computer knowledge is needed for Concierge position Hospitality experience is a plus.
