Job Description:
DESCRIPTION:AKE Safety Equipment is a locally owned small to
mid-sized manufacturing and sales driven company. - We operate on a
national scale, targeting customers who farm and reside in
agriculturally productive areas of the U.S. - Our Customer Service
Manager -will be the department lead responsible for communicating
with our regionally based sales representatives and customers. This
role requires creativity, quick adaptation to change and has the
ability to keep the success and forward movement of the business as
the ultimate top priority.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A large aspect of the position will
focus on providing information and support to customers and sales
representatives across the country via phone and email
correspondence -Answer phone calls and assist walk-in customers
with questions or issues -Troubleshoot issues by working with other
AKE staff members for resolution -Ability to work between multiple
software platforms -Assist in product registration, refills, direct
sales orders- payment or shipping -Maintain accurate records and
databases -Contributes new ideas that help drive efficiency and
team goals -Assists with process documentation and continuous
improvement -Supports Customer Service Manager in all department
related functions as necessary -Clerical tasks as neededREQUIRED
SKILLS:
-Proven interpersonal skills,
outgoing, patient, professional attitudeStrong general knowledge of
computer programs and working with the integration between those
programs on a daily basisAnticipate a variety of needs and problems
and proactively suggest solutionsMust be able to use excellent
independent judgement and discretion in a variety of
situationsStrong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, QuickBooks and
Salesforce (CRM)Detail orientedSelf-starter with outstanding
organizational and time management skillsMust be able to work in an
entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment that emphasizes accuracy
and timelinessPREFERRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in related field3
