This position exists to provide professional nursing care and leadership in the implementation of treatment programs/support services so that upon discharge, patients can integrate successfully into their community. The Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) is an acute inpatient psychiatric treatment facility designed to provide rapid assessment and stabilization for people needing acute psychiatric care. Service delivery is provided through a thoroughly integrated treatment model. The person selected for this position will operate as part of a small team of people responsible for the care and treatment of adults in acute psychiatric status who require hospitalization in a safe and secure environment. The person selected for this position will also be responsible for developing individualized nursing plans, evaluating the effectiveness of the plans and the care provided, and mentoring/training Registered Nurses and direct care staff. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: To qualify, you must possess current licensure in Minnesota as a Registered Nurse AND * Bachelors of Nursing degree plus two (2) years of experience; OR * Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing plus years three (3) of experience. Preferred Qualifications: * At least one (1) year of leadership or charge nurse experience. * At least one (1) year of mental health or psychiatric nursing experience. * Person Centered experience. * Infection Control experience.
