Job Description:
Mayo Clinic, a leading nonprofit in medical practice and
research, is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our
dedicated team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute
to an integrated clinical system focusing on expert, whole-person
care. Our Radiology department utilizes state-of-the-art technology
to provide diagnostic imaging services essential for comprehensive
healthcare. In this role, you will work closely with top healthcare
professionals to perform scans essential for diagnosis and
treatment planning, contributing directly to patient care and
recovery. Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT
scans, and MRI under the guidance of Radiologists. Prepare and
position patients for imaging; ensure their comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality
guidelines. Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients
and staff. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to
provide timely imaging services. Maintain and manage imaging
equipment; troubleshoot issues as they arise. Participate in
training and professional development activities. Proficiency in
radiologic technology and handling complex imaging equipment.
Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented
with strong organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified and registered with the
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state
licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
