registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years CVOR RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A skilled Registered Nurse
with CVOR expertise is needed for a contract opportunity in
Marshfield, WI. This role requires circulation experience in
cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases, along with a strong
knowledge of perioperative nursing practices. The position supports
a busy suite with a focus on high-acuity cases including daVinci Xi
lung surgeries, open hearts, valve replacements, TAVR, thoracotomy,
and peripheral vascular procedures. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license with cardiovascular operating room (CVOR)
experience - ACLS and BLS certifications required - Ability to
circulate complex cardiovascular/thoracic surgeries - Experience
with orthopedic, neuro/ENT/plastics, general/GYN/urology surgical
populations is a plus - Proficiency with Cerner EMR systems -
Ability to scrub as needed - Prior experience at the location
should be noted, with at least 6 months since previous assignment
completion Responsibilities: - Circulate and assist in
cardiovascular and additional surgical cases (e.g., c-sections, lap
appy, lap chole, bowel resections) - Collaborate with charge
nurses, OR techs, and the surgical team during 24/7 coverage -
Float to the Outpatient Surgery Center as required - Adhere to the
facility dress code with provided navy scrubs - Participate in a
comprehensive orientation and ongoing case training Schedule and
Call: - Primarily day shifts with some PM, night, weekend, and
holiday rotations - Shift options include 8- or 10-hour shifts;
12-hour shifts possible after initial contract - Call response time
ranges from 30 to 45 minutes depending on team level - Call
expectations include nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
