Job Description:
Join our dedicated team at Mayo Clinic as a Registered Nurse in
the Outpatient Medical Oncology department, where we bring our

oncology patients in an outpatient setting, providing them with
compassionate care and supporting them through their treatment

nursing care in a diverse outpatient oncology setting. Administer
chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications according to
protocol. Assess patient conditions during visits and coordinate
ongoing care. Support patient education and advocacy during
treatment and in survivorship. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to tailor interventions to patient needs. Document patient
care and outcomes to maintain accurate records. Strong clinical
skills in oncology and patient care management. Exceptional
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to administer
oncology treatments and manage common side effects. Capability to
work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Skills in
documentation and health informatics. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred or willingness to
obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
