Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at Mayo Clinic as a Registered Nurse in
the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at our renowned Recovery

In this role, you will be entrusted with providing vital care to
patients recovering from anesthesia, including monitoring vital
signs, managing pain, and ensuring safe recovery post-surgery. This
opportunity allows you to work in a state-of-the-art facility with
top-tier professionals dedicated to healing and patient care.
Monitor patient vital signs and recovery process following surgery.
Administer medications for pain management and assist in patient
comfort. Evaluate patients for discharge from the PACU. Educate
patients and their families on post-procedure care. Collaborate
with surgical team members to deliver optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety
regulations. Strong clinical skills in a PACU or critical care
setting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in the use of medical software and patient care
technology. Capable of making quick and accurate decisions under
pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) certification recommended.
