forgiveness programs. Opportunities: Neurosurgery (Marshfield,
Wisconsin): In this role, you will work within a cooperative unit,
utilizing team effort with health care providers, co-workers, and
the public to provide positive patient interaction. Thoracic
(Weston, Wisconsin): This is a new program that is being
implemented here at MCHS. This role will work in partnership with
the thoracic surgeon. There will be outreach to the Marshfield
Center to help support the clinic there. Urology (Marshfield,
Wisconsin): In this role, you will join the largest urology group
within MCHS along with a possibility of a flexible schedule of four
10-hour days should you wish. Rotating call will be 1:5.
Orthopedics (Marshfield, Wisconsin): In this role, you will join a
group of nine NPs & PAs who support thirteen surgical orthopedic
physicians. You will rotate between assisting in the OR, Clinic and
Inpatient rounding duties. Call is 1:9. (Minocqua, Wisconsin: You
will work with an experienced team providing orthopedic care in a
Level III trauma center. Call expectations of 1:10. ENT
(Marshfield, Wisconsin): This position combines both outpatient
clinic services and surgical first-assist responsibilities. The APC
will collaborate closely with ENT physicians, audiologists, and
other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional,
patient-centered care across a wide range of ear, nose, throat,
head, and neck conditions. The physician assistant is a skilled
member of the allied healthcare team, who is expected to practice
at the highest level of their licensure. This requires providers to
stay up to date with the latest evidence-based medicine. They work
collaboratively with the Hospitalist to facilitate acute care of
the adult patient. This individual works collaboratively with
physicians, nurses, case managers and other healthcare disciplines,
utilizing a team approach. The Physician Assistant participates in
all aspects of care of the hospitalized patient, including
admissions, discharge, daily rounds and patient education.
Requirements: Three years’ experience as a staff in a hospital
setting preferred Current State of Wisconsin Physician Assistant
Licensure Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA)
