Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Marshfield, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,488 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Med Surg/PCU/Telemetry RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg/PCU/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of Med Surg, PCU, or ICU experience - Experience in a clinical setting within the last year - Drip experience - Experience with home trach vents preferred - Ability to titrate drips Description: This position requires working in a Neuro Trauma unit with a focus on telemetry. The unit has 28 beds with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5-6 at night, depending on acuity. Common diagnoses include strokes, seizures, Guillain Barre syndrome, Myasthenia gravis, spinal injuries, and various neuro specialties. Trauma patients may include orthopedic injuries from accidents and falls. Candidates must have experience with titratable drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, and Insulin. RNs are required to read their own telemetry strips and should be comfortable using equipment such as vents, trachs, CPAP, and BiPAP. Floating to other units may be required, and RNs are expected to participate in self-scheduling. The position includes every other weekend and holiday requirements. This role does not include a call or standby requirement. A comprehensive unit orientation will be provided.
