We provide the resources and support you need to succeed, and opportunities for career advancement and continuing education.Responsibilities:- Report to the Director of Nursing and collaborate with the Nurse Manager for day-to-day clinical operation of healthcare units- Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure quality patient-centered care- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care coordination- Address operational issues and promote optimal performance for quality care- Provide leadership in hiring, scheduling, staff development, teaching, and contributing to continuous improvement and quality initiatives- Knowledge or experience with gerontology or long-term nursing preferredQualifications:- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing degree program (masters preferred)- Minimum 2 years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience required- Experience in staff supervision preferred- Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal effectiveness required- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and computer skills requiredLicense or Certification:- Current RN license by applicable state requirements- Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers- BCLS certification required- Additional specialty certification/training as requiredWork Details:- Exempt position- Compensation: $84,552.00 - $88,774.40 / year- Full-time schedule (80 hours/pay period)- Flexible shift schedule, predominantly evenings with on-call coverage once monthly- Weekend schedule as needed- No international assignmentAbout Mayo Clinic:Mayo Clinic is located in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, Jacksonville, Florida, and Rochester, Minnesota, with additional campuses throughout Midwestern communities and international locations.
