Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is conducting a search for a full-time cardiovascular surgeon for organ procurement for our heart and lung transplantation programs.The ideal candidate will be proficient in adult cardiac surgery, have a strong academic background, and expertise in heart and lung procurement, organ assessment and resuscitation, ex-vivo organ perfusion, ECMO cannulation and management, as well as all aspects of Cardiovascular Surgery.Requirements:Cardiac surgical experience required, preferably as an advanced trainee or staff surgeon with strong surgical skills. Other requirements include:

• Expertise in lung and heart procurement and transplantation
• Expertise in ex-vivo heart and lung perfusion and normothermic regional perfusion
• Expertise in ECMO cannulation and management
• Eligible for Minnesota State Licensure
