No weekends!About The Job:The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides routine assistance with bathing and personal cares to clients in their home setting in accordance with their plan of care. The Home Health Aide (HHA) will maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment.What we are looking for:Education :
  • Certification from a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) program through classroom and supervised practical training totaling at least 75 hours with 16 hours devoted to supervised practical training, Must have a minimum of 12 hours of in-service per year to maintain CNA Certification OR
  • Currently enrolled in an ADN, BSN, diploma program with successful completion of first semester of ADN program, OR first year completion of nursing courses in BSN or Diploma program, OR graduate of an ADN, Diploma, BSN or LPN program.Experience:
    • Previous demonstrated competency as HHA/Nurse Aide.
    • Home Health or community health experience preferred.Special Skills and Competencies:
      • Ability to work with clients and families with diverse opinions and diverse religious and cultural ideals and values.
      • Demonstrate professionalism under less than desirable conditions.
      • Willing to drive in normal winter driving conditions.
      • Must provide proof of Basic Life Support ( BLS Provider -American Heart Association or Professional Rescuer-American Red Cross) prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintains current status.
      • Must provide proof of Mandatory Reporting for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training prior to employment or within 6 months of hire and maintain current status per State of Iowa guidelines
