A Facility in Mason City Iowa has an on-going need for an EM MD.
Start Date: ASAP (Emergency Credentialing will be used - Timeframe 6 approx. weeks)

PRACTICE DETAILS

• 
  
• Trauma Level 2
  
• 250 beds
  
• 33,000 annual visits
  
• Volume: 80-90 per day
  
• Peak shifts/busiest is during 11a-11p
  
• Transfer out less than 3% of patients
  
• High acuity
  
• Cerner EMR
  
• Midlevel coverage. Our hours are as follows: Physician coverage 24/7 and Double physician coverage 8a-2a
  
  SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  
  
  • 
    
  • Board Certified ABEM - can accept through ABMS, AOA, or ABPS (would be willing to take FM or BE w/in 5 years of residency) - Required at name clear
    
  • Clean background a must - Required at name clear
    
  • IA licenses - Required - will accept IMLC!!
    
  • ACLS & PALS are required through AHA; if ER boarded ACLS and PALS are waived; ATLS required for trauma privileges
    
  • Availability - Required at time of presentation
    
  • Covid Vaccination - Required, note at time of name clear
