Pay: $28-29p/hour

Shift: 36 hours Day and Night Rotation. Every third weekend.

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Duties:

The Nursing Assistant (NA) is part of a care delivery team that provides care to patients. The NA works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and assumes delegated responsibilities as appropriate.

Skills:

Nursing observation and data collection skills, critical thinking, documentation, and technical skills related to assigned patient populations. Basic problem-solving and prioritization skills. Knowledge of developmental stages and age-appropriate outcomes and interventions. Knowledge and ability to accept cultural differences and appropriate outcomes and interventions. Knowledge of emergency and other relevant policies and procedures. Use of proper body mechanics. Infection control principles and practices. Knowledge and ability to use effective communication strategies, interpersonal skills. Excellence in customer service

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required within one year of hire in addition to the nursing assistant certification or completion of one quarter/semester of clinicals and enrolled in a nursing program.

Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: (Has Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional Considerations):
Preferred: One plus years Nursing Assistant experience Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance. May be required to work weekends or overtime.
