The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, invites you to join our team! -- -- We are seeking an additional member to join our experienced, diverse team of specialists. We hope to add a staff member with complementary skills and experience in areas such as the infectious complications of transplantation, immunology and immuno-deficiency, antimicrobial resistance and stewardship, infection prevention and control, emerging infectious diseases, disaster preparedness, global health, and/or clinical microbiology. Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in pediatric infectious diseases, have outstanding clinical and teaching skills, and experience in basic, clinical or translational research.

The Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases:
The division provides inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases specialty care to children with highly complex medical and surgical problems, including children with cancer or who are undergoing stem cell or solid organ transplantation, through the comprehensive, growing multi-specialty practice at the Mayo Clinic Children--------s Center. Division members collaborate with a designated pediatric infectious diseases pharmacist in this care. The work is complemented by access to the world-renowned Mayo Clinic Clinical Microbiology lab, which is lead by specialists in culture and molecular diagnostics, susceptibility testing, and infectious diseases pathology, and the Primary Immunodeficiency Center, which is a referral center for the Jeffrey Modell Foundation.

Division members are actively engaged in a variety of other activities, playing leading roles internally and nationally in: clinical, translational, and basic research with support from the National Institutes of Health, industry, and intramural sources; education; infection control and prevention; public health; disaster preparedness and management; antimicrobial stewardship; and quality improvement. -- Click -- here -- to learn more about the division and -- here -- to learn more about our faculty.
