Job Description Express Employment Professionals has partnered with
an area Needlecraft Products Company and is now recruiting for a
Design Director! This full-time, in-house art position offers the
opportunity to develop 60- 80 needlework designs per year from
concept to release of product. Familiarity with the needlecraft
industry is a plus but will train on the job. Hours: Monday -
Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm Fridays from 7:30am to 1:30pm Pay: $24/hr
+ based on experience Benefits once hired on: health, life, short

paid holidays Job duties will include:Communicate with needlework
designers, photographers, model stitcher and printers from
beginning to end of production.Oversee package design and product
material.Write needlework instructions with clarity and
accuracy.Calculate supplies list for each needlework design.Create
work schedules and ensure all deadlines are met
consistently.Oversee and manage co-worker and their job.
Qualifications:Associates Degree or equivalent with 8+ years
experience in related field.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for
writing instructions, editing photos and creating package design
and product material.Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite,
specifically Excel and Access.Experience with processing graphics
for websites and the printing industry.Intuitive sense of color,
design and visual acuity.Creative sense and energy for developing
new design concepts.Ability and desire to critique each design to
make it the best.Good time management and organizational
skills.Excellent attention to detail.Clear and concise
communication skills.Dependable, punctual with a positive/can-do
