Location: Almco Panels Plus, 507 W Front Street, Albert Lea, MN Status: Exempt Salary Type: Fulltime Position Description:As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for implementing all sales activities to satisfy customer requests for equipment, supplies, and services within assigned customer base. Responsible for finding and developing new accounts, selling new services to existing accounts, increasing total sales revenue on a regular basis, and maintaining an ethical and professional relationship with customers and distributors. A Regional Sales Manager is also responsible for obtaining and/or reviewing customer orders, administration of company approved pricing, and working as liaison between the customer and company departments to assure complete customer satisfaction. Essential Functions: - Focused sales efforts on, servicing existing accounts / historical sales, obtaining new orders, and establishing new accounts by understanding and fulfilling customer's needs - Meet or exceed business sales goals as established by management - Become a product expert and trusted resource for existing Panels Plus customers, and new prospects - Keeps manager informed with activities and results such as weekly work plans, weekly call reports, and maintain CRM leads, accounts, and opportunities. Strong collaboration is needed with the various other areas of the business, along with the ability to work independently - As a Regional Sales Manager, you will research competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and services, delivery schedules, etc. - Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and working with management team to ensure customer satisfaction - A Regional Sales Manager will need to develop and maintain a good working knowledge of all equipment and services available to customers - Manages activities of distributors / resellers - Accomplishes all tasks and duties with professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company and its employees in a positive manner - Back up for service, equipment installs or other positions - 30-50% Travel required for a Regional Sales Manager, includes customer visits, trade shows, equipment installs, service calls, etc.This includes travel by driving and or commercial airlinesWe offer the following: --- Medical & Short-Term Disability --- HRA - 100% Employer Contribution --- Free Clinic - For covered employees and their dependents --- Long Term Disability & Life Insurance - 100% Employer Paid --- Personal Time Off--- Tuition Reimbursement - Up to $4,000 per year --- Paid Holidays - Eligible on 1st day of employment --- 401K and ESOP - Stock ownership retirement funds are invested for you with no contribution from employee --- Profit Sharing --- Clean and safe work environment. Requirements:
Qualifications: - Two-year associate degree with a minimum of 8 years Sales / Customer service experience or minimum of 2 years of Building/Customer Service experience - Excellent communication skills verbal and written - PC skills including ERP, CRM, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and Intranet/Internet is a plus - A strong ability to set and prioritize goals - Mechanically inclined - Excellent problem-solving skills and strong ability to multi-task - Work with the customer to solve issues in a fair & friendly way - Must complete a pre-employment screeningThis description reflects the principal functions of the job for the purpose of job evaluation.
