It is one of the reasons we have been named a Forbes Best Employer for three consecutive years!All major Holidays offWe provide development to help you grow your careerAssociate discountInternal recognition programs that support an engaged workplaceProfit Sharing401 (K) with company matchCompetitive base pay with annual merit raises based on performanceSaturday & Sunday weekend premium pay $2.50 per hourWhat You--ll Do:The Assistant Service Center Manager would assist the Service Center Manager in overseeing the Service Technicians and the Automotive Service Center department.This can include, but is not limited to:Customer ServiceProvide technical assistance to Service Center Technicians and supportAssist in directing and training Service Technicians and supportAttending annual training seminarsAssigning tasks/jobs to the Service Technicians and supportPerform all Service Technician and Service Desk Coordinator dutiesAssist in conducting daily shop goal assessments to the company s expectations/budgetsDrive customer and company vehiclesAssist in controlling Service Center expenses (payroll, claims, supplies, etc )Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and Safety policies and proceduresMaintain and repair Service Center equipmentConduct 45-90 day and annual performance evaluationsWhat It Takes:Must possess a valid driver s licenseGreat communication skillsPrior Automotive Maintenance experience is preferredPrior supervisory experience preferredPrior Retail experience preferredAble to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekendAble to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checksAble to attain an ASE Certification in A4 Steering and Suspension and A5 brakesMust possess or have the ability to obtain forklift certificationAbility to read and speak English and communicate with customers and co-workers Michigan Stores Only ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II and ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III OR equivalent Michigan certifications.
