The Home Instead office manager holds a pivotal position within our team of professionals, sitting at the center of it all and touching nearly every aspect of the business. The ideal candidate is well-spoken, proficient in written communication, incredibly organized, and possesses the ability to think critically.The professional we seek to become our office manager will need to possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Initiative -anticipate the needs of the team and proactively assist in problem-solving and workload reduction.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making while handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Strong computer/technology skills, including but not limited to web browsers, VoIP calling systems, electronic file storage, Microsoft Suite, and Google WorkspaceHere are just a few of the duties you will perform as a Home Instead Office Manager:
    • Act as the primary contact for all incoming communication and ensure interactions are handled in a professional manner
    • Greet visitors entering the office and direct them to the proper destination in the building
    • Provide thorough and professional administrative support to the office staff
    • Maintain the integrity of information systems, databases, and office files
    • Assist the Executive Director with daily business operations
    • Plan and execute special projects as needed
    • Use assertive professionalism to communicate with CAREGivers and clients about scheduling and service needs
    • Prepare written communication, supply orders, expense reports, meeting notes, etc.
    • Accurately and efficiently archive documents

        • High School Diploma or Higher
        • Excellent application of grammar, punctuation, and English usage
        • Must have computer experience and possess proficiency in technical office equipment and tools
