Position description
Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire has an ICU Nurse Manager position available for a great leader who shares our values. As the region's only Level 2 trauma center, our ICU in Eau Claire is expanding to meet the needs of our growing surgical practice. Your job as the ICU Nurse Manager is an important one. You will be partnering with physician, operations and nursing leadership to lead a team of highly skilled professionals who care for our sickest patients. Our patients are diverse, and we must be too in order to leverage the diversity of skills, ideas and experiences of all our staff and nurture a culture of innovation, safety and quality.

Graduate of a baccalaureate in nursing by an accredited program. Effective September 1, 2019 all Directors, Managers, Supervisors hired prior to January 1, 2017 must have completed baccalaureate in nursing. Minimum of three years of nursing practice experience.

Additional qualifications
Demonstrated leadership ability. Management experience preferred. Experience in the ICU. Preferred Education: Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited Master's in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, business, or health related field.

License or certification
Current state RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the State Board of Nursing in which the RN practices. Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Maintains ACLS and PALS per specific unit guidelines. Any additional specialty certification/training required by the work area is highly recommended.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. - The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,922.40 based on a full-time position.

Schedule details
Generally during business hours; however, flexibility is required to support business needs.

Weekend schedule
Occasionally, based on department needs.
