The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling mechanical parts according to specifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read and follow daily Manufactured Electronic Scheduler (MES) and other instructions to build and assemble parts in an accurate and timely fashion Make routine inspection of products after assembling Operate small hand and power tools Maintains a 5S work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Participate in continuous improvement through submittal of improvement ideas and working with management and engineering to accomplish improvements Requirements: Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred 3 to 5 years of mechanical assembly experience required Required Skills Must be familiar with portable power tool and machine tools such as a drill press Requires a basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Must have computer familiarity Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
