Schedule: Monday through Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job
Summary The Soldering Operator is responsible for performing hand
soldering on through-hole and surface-mount components, assembling
electronic circuit boards, and ensuring all work meets company
quality standards, IPC guidelines, and customer specifications.
Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities) Solder electronic
components, wires, and connectors onto PCBs using hand tools,
soldering irons, and related equipment. Interpret and follow
production documentation, including assembly drawings, work
instructions, and BOMs. Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and
compliance with IPC-A-610 standards. Perform touch-up soldering and
rework as needed. Operate basic manufacturing tools such as
microscopes, tweezers, cutters, and torque tools. Assemble
mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies as required. Follow all
ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures when handling components.
Maintain clean and organized workstation; follow 5S guidelines.
Complete production tasks within assigned timeframes to support
schedule demands. Identify and report any defects, material
shortages, or process issues to the Production Supervisor. Assist
in training junior assemblers or solderers when needed. Follow all
company safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement
activities. Requirements: Education & Qualification High School
Diploma or equivalent required. Work Experience - Technical
Knowledge Minimum 1–2 years soldering and PCB assembly experience
preferred. Professional Skills Ability to read and interpret work
instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams Strong hand-eye
coordination and fine motor skills. Behavioral / Soft Skills
Familiarity with ESD practices, magnification tools, and rework
techniques. Preferred Skills Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Class 2 or
Class 3 workmanship standards. Prior work in high-reliability,
aerospace, or defense PCBA environments General work Conditions
Physical Demand Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Frequent use of hands, fingers, and small tools. Ability to lift up
to 25 lbs. occasionally. Visual acuity required for detailed work
under magnification. Work Environment Manufacturing environment
with exposure to solder fumes, chemicals, and small component
handling. Safety Requirement Manufacturing environment with
