MechanicDepartment: MaintenanceReports To: Maintenance
SupervisorGeneral Summary: Performs skilled maintenance,
fabrication or installation work on plant equipment. Performs work
in accordance with maintenance system, within the TS 16949
system.Essential Functions:Essential functions "are those functions

document all work performed on assignment sheetWill be expected to
verify, isolate, and do corrective action on production line
problems and breakdownsConduct PM's and document worked
performedShall communicate all inspections and repairs to
supervision (Managers and/or Supervisor on dutyUse appropriate
equipment to test or analyze problems with plant equipmentRepair or
replace parts on existing equipment or installs new
equipmentFabricate and assemble new plant buildings or equipment or
alter existing properties or machinesPerform assigned work
involving layout & fabrication, carpentry,pipefitting, installation
and painting when assignedExpected to work from ladders or
platforms when necessary and to work both inside and outside the
plant buildings as requiredMust perform all work while following
recognized rules for safety and healthKeep work area in good order
and clean-up when necessaryPerform various associated tasks and/or
duties as required by all supervisionWork with, train, and
encourage less experienced co-workersExperience RequiredIndustrial
maintenance, troubleshooting, and layout fabrication experience
preferredEducation, Training & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED
requiredTrade/technical school training desiredTraining is provided
on the jobWork Schedule/Job Rotation/Breaks: 12 hour shifts
rotating 36 hours one week then 48 hours the next week. (12 hours
max/day)Two 15 minute breaks and a paid 20 minute lunchWork
