Job Description:
Qualifications/Experience: Minnesota Special Education teaching
license required. Successful background check required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Provide instruction during the
Extended School Year Program. Thorough knowledge of subject(s)
taught; thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of
effective teaching; ability to establish and maintain standards of
behavior; ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and
written reports; and ability to establish and maintain effective
working relationships with staff, students and parents. Exemplifies
the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect,
responsibility, self discipline and honesty. Specific Tasks:
Provide an ideal, positive virtual learning environment, instruct
students in individual sessions, develop, translate and integrate
lesson plans, and establish positive relationships. Days/Hours for
ESY Program: 7:30am-12:00am (4.5 hours/day) Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday June 15-17 & 22-24 Monday & Tuesday June 29 & 30 ESY
total hours: 8 days1 day set up/tear down = 44 hours total Pay as
per contract
