Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-8 school in
Lakeville, MN is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to
provide specialized services one day per week as a long-term
substitute. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity
to support student development in a dynamic educational setting
throughout the current school year. Responsibilities include: -
Delivering school-based occupational therapy services tailored to
the needs of K-8 students - Collaborating with teachers, parents,
and other school staff to develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs) - Assessing students developmental, sensory,
and motor skills to promote functional independence in the school
environment - Documenting therapy progress and maintaining accurate
records in compliance with applicable policies and regulations
Qualifications: - Valid Occupational Therapy license - Experience
working with school-age children in K-8 settings preferred - Strong
knowledge of school-based OT practices and strategies - Excellent
communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work
independently as a long-term substitute Location: - Lakeville, MN
