This key role will drive the overall product strategy and execution of the Sales, Marketing, Aftermarket and Technical Service areas of the business; and will be responsible for financial performance in collaboration with other functions across the business (Operations, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources). To deliver these results, will require strategic leadership, accountability across the organization, and influencing various stakeholders to deliver on the vision for the business.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop product development/innovation strategy and priorities based on business cases that assess the market opportunity, investment, and right to win. Drive product differentiation and simplification to ensure we focus our resources and innovation on the drivers of value. A key participant in demand planning and operations scheduling as well as the overall strategic direction of the business.
  • Drive cross-functional decision-making and accountability for major financial performance drivers to deliver profitable growth for IMT. Work across functions, business units, and segments, as necessary, to deliver results.
  • Provide active and visible leadership to the team engaged in IMT products (and as a leader within the IMT team) to build a collaborative environment, coach, and develop the team. Continue to build a culture of trust and accountability within Sales, Marketing, Technical Service, and Aftermarket. Identify, hire, and train top talent. Monitor the talent pool at all levels within the sales, marketing, aftermarket, and technical service organizations to ensure world class leaders are being developed. Work closely with Human Resources in identifying and implementing programs and activities to drive the development and retention of top talent.
  • Develop and execute channel strategies to improve communication and service levels. Engage dealers and customers for business development, feedback on products and trends, inventory levels, and decision-making for key choices in relation to the IMT business.
  • Responsible for total customer experience. Develops customer supporting solutions to ensure an exceptional experience. Develops strong key customer relationships and gains full understanding and insight to voice of the customer. Develop and execute robust marketing programs to support profitable revenue and market share goals.
  • Ensure business is conducted with the highest standard of quality and integrity to be consistent with Oshkosh values and ethics.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or area.
    • Fifteen (15) or more years of related experience.
    • Five (5) or more years of management experience.
    • Ability to travel up to 20%.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Master's degree in the field or in a related area; MBA preferred.
      • Prior experience working in or with a Manufacturing industry.
      • Thought leadership, change management, and project management experience.
      • Outstanding communication skills capable of presenting ideas, selling new concepts and tactics, active listening skills, and driving strategy.
      • Ability to influence change and build relationships with other business leaders.
      • Ability to conduct executive level presentations, perform data analysis, utilize trend analysis, and facilitate group discussions to tackle complex problems.
      • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and to impact others to move toward consensus.
      • Proven experience managing multiple and competing priorities.
      • Results oriented with a tireless work ethic - determined to meet and exceed targets and drive accountability throughout the organization.
