Tax Advisor Salary: Up to $130,000 Location: St Paul, MN (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Tax Advisor to perform tax advising, compliance, reporting, and planning for a diverse client base. This role involves providing proactive tax advice, preparing and filing accurate tax returns, conducting research, and leading process improvements through technology and automation. Key Responsibilities: - Provide clear, proactive tax advice and identify tax minimization strategies - Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and foundation tax filings - Collaborate with clients and professionals to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance - Conduct research and provide analysis to support tax planning and compliance - Manage correspondence with tax authorities and represent clients during tax audits - Provide guidance, training, and supervision to junior tax staff - Drive process and technology enhancements for improved efficiency - Stay current with tax law developments and digital transformation trends Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required - Minimum 5 years of related experience, including 3 years with complex partnership taxation - Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or Enrolled Agent, or advanced degree (MBT, MBA, JD) required - Experience with foreign investment holdings is a plus - Strong communication and leadership skills - Ability to analyze complex tax situations and provide clear recommendations Work Environment and Physical Demands: - Professional office setting with typical office equipment usage and computer work - Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform light lifting (up to 25 lbs) occasionally - Detail-oriented and organized, comfortable working in a results-driven, quiet environment Why Join Us?
