This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of our real estate portfolio. The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for the financial reporting, accounting, and reconciliation of a variety of real estate properties, using industry-leading software such as Yardi and CAM. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding role.Responsibilities:1. Oversee the financial management of a portfolio of properties, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.3. Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.4. Manage accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.5. Conduct CAM reconciliations and prepare tenant billing for CAM charges.6. Utilize Yardi software for property accounting and financial reporting tasks.7. Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and procedures.8. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.9. Participate in the year-end audit process, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.10. Continually review and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or real estate accounting.3. Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and accounts payable.4. Strong experience with Yardi software and CAM reconciliations.5. Comprehensive understanding of real estate accounting principles and regulations.6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.9. Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, flexibility, and adaptability.10.
