ABOUT SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/ANALYST OPPORTUNITY:

In this Senior Accountant/Analyst opportunity, you will report directly to the owner of the business and have varying responsibilities across Accounting and Finance for the full organization. This company is growing so their is certainly potential to become a Manager in the coming years.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/ANALYST:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
  
• Prepare precise and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  
• Senior Accountant/Analyst develops annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, and analyzes actual financial performance against projections, identifying and explaining significant variances.
  
• Senior Accountant establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
  
• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  
• Report to owner regarding the finances of establishment.
  
• Ad Hoc Projects on an as needed basis.
  JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/ANALYST:
  We are looking for a degreed Senior Accountant/Analyst with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that this Senior Accountant/Analyst is able to work effectively with minimal oversight, while also functioning well in a team environment.
  EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/ANALYST ROLE:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required
    
  • 5+ Years of Corporate Accounting and Analysis Experience (Property Management/Real Estate Experience a plus)
    
  • Attention to detail
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    
  • Corporate accounting / General ledger experience
    
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate to expert Excel skills
    
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
